Brightstone - I saw your comment on St.John and wanted to tell you that my sister was married on St.Johh, at Caneel Bay. They got married at turtle point and did the reception in the sugar mill ruins- GORGEOUS.

All of them are stunning, but the first one would be my pick!

I have to second Deco that that particular channel set looks really nice! But there is just something about that Contessa band I love too...

I have to third that motion, the channel band does look really good the depths match and they compliment well together

IS the channel set band by Memoire as well?

Geckodani, I just saw this post, 12 days later.....

I fell in love with the sugar mill ruins at caneel bay when I saw the photo on their website. I wanted to do the reception there so badly, but the sugar mill ruins can only accommodate 40 people with no bad. I was hoping to invite about 65. How many people did your sister have at her wedding?

Love the contessa!!!--it is so much more unique than the others--and I love different and unique--so that''s my vote!

I vote for contessa. It just looks like it was made to be next to your e-ring.

I love the Contessa band. I think it looks gorgeous with your engagement ring.

I vote for the channel set... the other two are beautiful, but "bumpy", which I think detracts from the beauty of your e-ring.

They all look nice, but there is just something about that Contessa,

It looks so good on your hand and with your ering! So the Contessa gets my vote

Second favorite is the channel set.

They all look beautiful but I think the contessa is the best. It would also hold its own if you every want to wear it alone. Have you decided yet?

Thanks everyone!!!! I have decided on the Contessa. Completely sold on it. I love it.

Also, hoping Geckodani will see my response to her comment about St john. I would love to pick her brain about the sugar mill ruins at Caneel Bay!!!

Can''t WAIT to marry my man!!! Gotta find a venue and pick a date first. The search continues. Going to NYC this weekend to dress hunt again and also look at a couple of venues.

She had about 20 people, and it was GORGEOUS. And I swear the food was the best I have ever had, LOL.

ETA: I'd be happy to answer any questions! I've been a little MIA lately with work.

I actually really like the channel set too! Either way you can''t go wrong :)

hi brightstone!

you have some beautiful choices there. it is hard to say without seeing them in real life, because i know the shared prong bands can look amazing in real life, but that isn''t always captured in pictures. from your pictures, my first reaction was for the channel set band, and i usually don''t love them. however, the more i looked at your pics, the more i like the contessa, with the channel set being a very close second. no matter what you choose though, it will be gorgeous!

one more thought - i had a shared prong band briefly and nothing has compared to its beauty, but i did find that i worried about it more and didn''t wear it with complete ease. for that reason, having found a channel set that is a knockout, it might be worth considering that a channel set band is somewhat more carefree wearing.

Thanks Geckodani! I am thinking I might have up to 63 people if we do it in St John. I know Caneel Bay has other places on their property....TB Verandah, Caneel Beach Terrace, etc. Did you see the other possible area on that property and have an opinion about which one was nicest? OR were the ruins just so unique and awesome that nothing else could beat them. I kind get that feel.....
Did your sister have a band/DJ?
xo

p.s. This is one of the venues I am checking out in NY this weekend. www.632onhudson.com . Isn''t is funky? I think it will be too much $$, but I am still psyched to see it!

I didn''t see a whole lot of the rest of Caneel - but everything I did see was beautiful! She had a classical guitarist for the ceremony and steel drums before the reception.
