Not mine, because I am unfortunately not made if money!, but courtesy of the Biltmore Estate that we visited yesterday.

Ahhhhh!!! We stayed at the Biltmore for Christmas last year. It was so pretty!

I'm done cutting trees and dealing with all the mess. This year I bought a $400 super realistic fake tree from Home depot. We were all standing around staring at it because it looked so real and I decided to splurge and buy it! I got some traditional colored christmas ball ornaments on sale at AC Moore. I hung one of these in it to make it smell real. I am in love.

Now, that's what I'm talking about!! I love a good faux tree!!

I’m not decorating this year BC we are going to list our house but here are a few pictures from past years-

i am so hot and sweaty right now im disgusting
i forgot how hot this job is
i now need the Christmas fairy and angel hospital
two dismembered wings
one broken ankle and a broken arm
the unfortunate celestial lady with the broken arm also has dismembered wings

moving was hard
one of the boxes with Christmas decorations had do not crush written on yet the vacuum cleaner was sitting on the box

my beautiful pine tree is a bit squshed and the old faithful fiber optic could be in its last year, it was very crushed in its box
im hoping if i keep playing with it over the next couple of days it will look better

i also found a bag of hooks and fixings and those 3M command hooks

update
i went to bed last night at 2pm
thanks goodness i don't have glass tree decorations because i dropped so many. there are lime sequins all over the place !
my brand new never used before lights have over 20 blown bulbs
im not overly happy
they give you 6 replacements in the box
i guess everything is just disposable these days grrrrrrrrrrrr
i think the newer LED lights one just throws out when the lights go
and too think i thought 200 budlights would be too many

next year im getting a bigger tree
work still in process.
its another warm sunny day here

im.so tired i could sleep standing up (lucky im sitting down)
its far from prefect and the fairy for the top is still waiting for her arm to be glued back on at the fracture clinic

now we live in a house and not a tiny flat we need a full sized tree
i don't have a tree skirt so i tried hanging decorations down lower ...and to think i thought i didn't need more orange and lime decorations !

but this is better than the no tree we had for the last 4 years

its nowhere near as impressive as your lobelly ones im afraid

the little bits of paper are to mark the lights i need to replace

Here are my three altogether. I'm really happy with how they turned out this year! We also have a small 'grotto' of three undecorated gold ones in the living room, and one outside, but these are the three decorated trees inside.

We are at our other house in Maryland...We’re going to do what we can while we’re here today..Thanksgiving...and fall decorations are still out..We hope to decorate the tree after putting everything else away...We’ll sleep well tonight!

My husband is putting the lights on the tree..and I’m decorating. I just did the sitting area in my kitchen in Maryland. I have lots more to do..My house is a hot mess with decorations everywhere needing to be unpacked. I’ll post pics as I go!

i always had this dream of creating Narnia in the attic space but i have the wrong shaped roof, my wardrobes are all built in and i dont know what my sister did with Grandma fur coat

I’m beat but it’s all done except for some tweaking tomorrow. I have boxes everywhere so I’ll clean up and post some more before we leave to go home to Pa tomorrow..Then I’ll start on that house!

Ok folks here's our Christmas decorations! Taken on Thanksgiving and minimal this year due to our upcoming wedding! Hope you enjoy.
No tree this year because of not being able to water. I do keep a beachy mermaid tree in my basement year round. I will have to take a pic of that soon. Merry Christmas to all!

@marcy For whatever reason I couldn’t see what was on your mantel..only the pretty colors and the glow of the lights..It looked so pretty...When I came inside and went on my iPad I was able to see your cute Snoopy figurines and Charlie Brown! Adorable!

wow all you ladies impress me
i have never seen decorations like this or on this scale before
every bodies place is gorgouse

my SIL gets pretty into it, she did a black tree before it became a thing a few years back
she had a room in her basement we called the Christmas tree room where she kept her trees
she's the only person ive ever known who did multiple trees but im a bit of a hermit and don't get out much

i have to ask what's with the nutcrackers ?
ive never seen the ballet
are nut crackers a big thing ?
