The Christmas decorations thread, 2019!

Thanks! I like color which is probably why I like colored gemstones so much. My husband grew up in a house that had no other color than beige. He is more into color than I, I think. I can't wait to see your snow people!

My husband is coming home from his trip..so snow people have first dibs to be freed!

colour wise, it was so much fun growing up in the '70s
nobody was afraid of colour

Gosh I just love everyone's Christmas decorations! They are all so different but equally as lovely. I just love this time of year. We finally finished our decorating. I'm exhausted, lol.

Here’s a pic of the front of the house. My husband saw the photo and got upset there was one light out upstairs..@missy Can you find it? Hahaha

I decorated the lakehouse for Christmas. We will go there for a week after Christmas but I wanted it to be festive for the New Year. This will be a test for the longevity of pine and cedar. I cut most of the greenery from the property. I hope it's not all needles on the floor when I get back there, lol!

Christmas bedding. I have the quilt pulled up, but if I were to turn it back, you'd see the sheets are the same plain color/pattern as the cushions on the bed.

Not mine, because I am unfortunately not made if money!, but courtesy of the Biltmore Estate that we visited yesterday.

I visited here about 20 years ago over Thanksgiving, whilst staying in the US with a relative. It's such a stunning place! They have one of the oldest, still working Paternoster lifts, which being an engineering geek, make my year!

We got one tree up the other decorations are boring so I didn’t bother with pictures..we will be getting our little tree probably tomorrow evening (we cut it down at a tree farm) I put in the dining room and all my kids homemade ornaments go on it so when it’s done I will share
