My DIY invites are done! My sister designed them, with my guidance, of course. I purchased the paper and envelopes, printed and assembled them myself, with the help of FI sealing envelopes. Here's the photos:
Here is my DIY escort card project. I made little tags with everyone's name on them in our colors. The table number is on the back of each card. I then pinned them to a cork board, covered with fabric, in a very large picture frame. This will sit on a table with our guest book and a couple of photos.
I DIYed The invitations and reply cards ( multicolored), placecards (Which look like envelopes and contain a photobooth ticket and a table topics card) Photobooth print-out logo, a simple veil, wedding favours (multicolored) and possibly bridal jewellery (still undecided on that). Fiance helped with most of the projects
I ended up designing a ridiculous number of monogram variants.
Just bought a online voucher to make our own wine going to make 60 bottles of wine for less than $200! Includes corks, bottles, labels, etc This is going to be fuuuun we plan to take pictures as well to include in the audio-visual presentation/slideshow during the reception.
My FI's favourite flavour is fruit cake and luckily that's my Mum's specialty! So she made us a trial cake and I did my first attempt of covering it with rolled almond icing and then a final layer of white fondant.
Both the almond icing and the white fondant I purchased from our local supermarket.
The final cake will be trimmed with black ribbon (to go with our black and white wedding colours) and decorated with some white flowers. It will be two tiers.
What do you think of the first attempt? There are a few things I'm gonna change next time: roll the fondant out thicker to get a smoother cover over the cake, make sure the cake mix is pressed right into the cake tin before baking, and so on.
These are from our engagement party. I bought a whole heap of different jars for a few dollars each from homewards shops. I then covered them at different heights with newspaper, sprayed with adhesive glue then covered them with glitter. They looked great on all the different tables! I bought bunches of different flowers and my bridesmaids help me put them together the night before
we are about 6 months away from the big day and we are doing just about everything ourselves.

We have some major customization on our wedding cards I just shared my problem with the IndianWeddingcards team and they are so helpful and printed my cards in just 3 days with express shipping they sent the same.
