I''m about to evaluate the following diamond for my girl''s engagement ring at an appraiser. What should i be looking for? Do i need to look at it through those imaging scopes? and do you think it''s a good deal? Not sure what all this means but i tried to include what i''ve found people thought was important on other threads!

Hi there,

The diamond looks promising, if you could get an Idealscope or ASET image of this diamond then that would be very helpful. If the diamond is online the seller might be able to send you one. Check it is eyeclean also to your standards, have you seen the diamond in person?

Scratch that last post, I missed that it was at an appraisers!

In that case, this article should be very helpful and give you some insight on the appraisal process. If the appraiser has access to ASET or Idealscope then it would be good to use these.

Thank you SC for posting this, it is my favourite article on ASET and Idealscope!
