Here''s a question: I have a vague memory of reading something once about the annual price patterns for diamonds and jewelry. I think the idea was that after Valentine''s Day is the best time to buy, because prices are the lost after the big sell-off for the holiday.

Anyone know anything else about this? Does it make any difference what time of year you buy?

The prices for the online vendors do not seem to rise or drop around holidays, so I don''t think there would be an advantage to waiting. If anything, prices just go up over time!
