Okay so... Tons of PS minds are better than one. Clearly.

And I''m hoping this thread catches on...

Since you all were so helpful with the flatware... I thought...many of us are on a budget... and setting up house... or have set up house but still need things... or are looking for things for our weddings... buying holiday gifts... so forth.

So I thought I''s start a thread where folks could ask for what they need... and if any friendly PSers have the time/skills they would help out with advice on what to buy (what the best brand of affordable X is or what to look for when buying a couch... so forth)... and where to get the best price for it.

So... What''s everyone looking for?

Okay....

I''ll go first.

I want green (like a moss green or olive green or sage green-- not emerald) stemware-- specifically matching wine glasses and water goblet/highball set. For my Christmas table.

Like this these golden ones from pier one... slim, elegant. "reidel"-like

And LOVE these from Crate and Barrel. The wine glasses are perfect--- but they have no matching goblets or even highballs just martini glasses and those won''t work.

Peir one has these... but they are really chunky and the stem has that bump and I don''t care for them at all.

Can anyone help me?

Ok, I'll play (though I wonder if we should do thins in shopping or hangout rather than BWW). I wear the Loreal lip gloss that's a knock-off of the Lancome lip juicers. I love the colors, the shine, the endurance and the protection, but I hate how sticky it is! It seems to always be catching my hair. Does anyone have a fab lip gloss that isn't waxy, sticky or $30? (I lose those things like pennys)
Thanks!

hehe i already know i won't be checking out this thread for anything more than curiousity as it's always easier for me when someone asks one question in a thread then it's focused on that topic. also makes it easier to search for the answer in the future. or if it's a topic like 'best makeup' or 'best home site' or whatever. i'm just too lazy to dig through big ole general threads for answers.

oh and typically in shopping we have a few threads for holiday gift giving or shopping ideas that are good to check out. none yet but im sure someone will post.

gypsy maybe check out westelm.com for the glass stuff.

I know the lancome/L''oreal glosses you speak of- you should know that L''Oreal actually owns lancome, so they are very, very similar products!

A non-sticky gloss that I love is Bobbi Brown- I always stock up at the holidays because they do a kit of like 5 glosses for $30 - little tubes, but not a bad deal- a variety pack if you would.
