oK, oK...I am a girl of my word (that expression sounds weird for some reason)...so here is my DH (he's gonna kill me, but he never likes any photo of himself)

The first two are are pre-baby photos but now, with a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old... both of us just look tired and grumpy all the time! I actually found one of him with my #1 where is doesn't look sleepy! LOL! (so sorry if photos as HUGE! dunno how to resize)...

Loving the pinkie ring!

Rosebloom, the pinkie ring that hubby wears is a hammered iron ring worn on the pinkie to symbolize that he is an engineer....they have this symbolism here in Canada for engineers... there's a whole "ring ceremony" and everything too when they receive the ring. But hubby is SO not into jewelry... he wears it on and off! His wedding band bugs him too but he can't take it off! (no, really. His knuckle is too big!)!

I've got a uniform-wearer at home ... Mine is a fireman with big muscles and devastating dimples. Unfortunately I *rarely* see him in his uni! I wish he would wear it home once in a while He is tall and dark-haired, but he always complains about his fair skin and freckles. He requires SPF 30 pretty much any time we leave the house

I agree with you ladies that I'm not attracted to Sean because of his looks. I also usually go for dark hair, tan guys (like DH) but I think Sean is cute cuz of his personality and charm.

He actually looks alot like my ex, which I'm trying not to hold against him. He seems like a genuine guy, so I hope it works out for him this time. Some of those girls....wow....a wedding dress?? Really?? What a way to scare a guy off....and getting falling down (literally!) drunk never makes a good first impression!! Hmmm....I wonder if the teenage girls out there who are watching actually gain any insight from the show about what NOT to do???

As for DH and me, thanks for the compliment! I wish I looked like that now tho. I've gained a significant amount of weight since we got married. And when I say significant, I'm saying like bam! significant... It's sad really...

Aw, I'm sorry--I'm part of that club too. Ive had some health issues this year and not working out in conjunction with a desk job led to chair-butt, which segued into wearing dresses every day cuz my pants don't fit! I currently have a photo up of myself showing off my ripped abs when I was in shape. That was 30lbs ago. I feel like I have cellulite on my belly and I am hyper-aware of my fat rolls. It doesn't feel good. Not that there is anything wrong with having a little chub on ya, but I just know that I *feel* So. Much. Better when I am in shape, and when I am in shape I'm 20-30lbs thinner.

I went to mat Pilates this morning and I feel so much better after a bit of a sweat. I just wish there was a way to speed up the process! I'm mad at myself for letting that hot figure go!!!

Try not to beat yourself up!!! Just do what makes you feel good and try to focus on the positive rather than fretting because you can't button your jeans (I've had that meltdown a few times recently ;P)

DH and I have watched The Bachelor/ette together since we started dating almost nine years ago! We are such suckers for this most guilty of guilty pleasure shows.

Anyway . . . I was never a big fan of Sean's. He's super nice and has a great body, but like many of you ladies in this thread, I'm just not attracted to blondies. And he's kind of too nice to be very interesting, IMO. We were so bummed when we found out Sean was the new bachelor, but then we remembered that it's the ladies who create all the drama, anyway.

I am usually so bad and I check Reality Steve, but this season I'm going to try to hold off. At least for now.

Me, too! A few extra pounds does nothing to diminish striking good looks, imo. I understand that after gaining a few married pounds it's easy to feel down about yourselves, but honestly I think the two of you look beautiful and handsome (respectively) as the first picture you posted, if not more.

Thank you Tuffyluvr, Rosebloom, Monarch... It's hard not to be hard on myself you know? Since it's not like a measly 10 pounds but 4 times that. I know I should be happy with myself but my whole life from childhood has been about me not being the right weight and my mom has engraved it in my head that if you're not skinny, you're not beautiful... But, I'm glad there are people like you that encourage a happy self confident woman in me.

Aw, that makes me sad. Growing up my friend's mom would always make comments about her weight in front of me and I just remember feeling so awful for her. She would compare her to me and other girls and I remember thinking--even at 7 yrs old that it was so wrong. You're beautiful as you are, and you should stay at whatever weight *you* feel good at. And if you want to lose weight, just start with 10. It's so much less daunting than 40, then you can re-assess. Maybe you'll feel great at that weight?

Not to burst anyone's bubble , but you guys know that all of the people on the bachelor and bachelorette are models/actors with agents and the show strongly fabricates their past work history. I worked with the mom of one of the last 3 guys on season one of the Bachelorette and a coworker of mine has a son that knows one of the guys (last 3 I think) on the most recent season. I can't really stand all the BS, but the eye candy is NICE.

This is the first season I've ever looked at Reality Steve! And I did! No regrets. The only reason I did is because I'm not really interested in Sean or who he picks. I'll still watch it though - I always do.

I was shocked!!! I thought based on the last episode that it would be Catherine going and then he'd be deciding between Ashlee and Lindsay. I was stunned at his decision to send Ashlee home!! WOW! but his face told a lot when he was watching those final videos. I found Lindsay to be too playful/young, Ashlee too old for her age (she's mainly a serious girl overall and has ISSUES!!) and Catherine seems a good balance of both sides.

Hate the tell all show, coming up next week, but hope Tierra shows just for the drama!!

I'm thinking Lindsay will be his pick in the end.... (BUT PLEASE DON:T TELL ME IF YOU KNOW....)
