The 1 ct, Pear, M Color, arrived photo time

It''s a cloudy day here so to brighten things up just a bit I had some fun with the new M. I was hoping it would be just a tad darker and that I was a better photographer

. I see the darn flashes in the stone but how do you catch those in a photo

?

It''s an average stone (just something I''ve wanted) it will be reset with something a bit dressier or have a custom enhancer designed and fabricated as soon as I define what it is that I want to do with it.

I may have over done this.....but here goes. Hmmmm maybe not having upload issues.

Hello

I really want to use this pear M stone as a ring, I will be putting away the current ring I wear for our son. For the new enhancer I was thinking along the line of small E-F, SI1-2 diamonds to contrast the M stone (similar clarity and character) not to overshadow the M but to bring out the difference in colors. White gold or palladium will be my first choices in setting or custom enhancer.

I really like halo settings, I just worry that it''s a trend...or is it here for the long haul?

I''d like to keep it simple for daytime, and have a way to bling it up for evening or special occaisions.

Hopefully (SOON) the old ring will have a new home with our son and his girlfriend. I still remember when I was a young woman, a large engagement ring seemed to be so important. I want them to have the option of using a larger family ring only if they want to (SOON). LOL as an old gal wearing the bigger ring is less important than, keeping them happy. If they don''t want to use the family ring.....I''ll wait, I''ll be patient (for Grandchildren) maybe someone else in the family will love it and give it a good home, diamonds really don''t go to waste
