First plot twist of which book? First of what series?

Black Prism! I just started the second book, Lightbringer. So sad that the series isn't finished yet, but I'm loving Brent Weeks' writing, so I think I'll move to the Night Angel trilogy after this.

Lightbringer has SEVERAL big surprises in the second book. His writing is like that. You read the first book and think you have things mostly figured out then BAM in the second book he turns things on their head. Happens in the Night Angel series too. From the first book the series seems to be about a boy being apprenticed to an assassin. Second book you find out the truth.
