It''s been quite a saga purchasing a diamond. In the end, I ran out of time and patience. (It was mostly time.)
I would like to personally thank the GOG people. Their web site was incredible. I have personally chatted with Jonathan and can say that he is a great guy. Not only is he a great guy, but he is a man of his word. That''s pretty important in this business. He said that he just got in some stones and he would have them up on the site in 24-48 hours. Well, that''s exactly what he did.
I didn''t end up purchasing from GOG, but they were really, really high up there in terms of preferred vendors. I''ll start a different thread (eventually) to show the finished product. The main point of this message is to publicly thank GOG for their service, their web site and their instructional stuff.
