I want to thank all for of the knowledge I have gained from reading and lurking.
I have a couple of questions that will show how much I still have to learn!!

1. Does the Ideal-Scope work on a diamond that is allready set? I realize that it might not be perfect to do it this way, but can I get a good enough idea?
2. For a 3.0 RB what is the right size/proportion for tapered baquettes...my favorite setting!

You will be able to see the top view of your diamond using an idealscope of a diamond that is already set. Unfortunately, you will not be able to see the bottom of your stone.
