Hi, I have been visiting pricescope for quite a while, and wanted to finally join and share my experience. I proposed to the love of my life on May 2 with a beautiful Asscher Trellis ring (she said YES!). I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone on here who provided all the information which helped me decide which stone to purchase. Special thanks to Storm--I have pages and pages of notes and checklists on what to look for in Asschers, based on the threads where he helped others. I''m happy and proud to have that stone on her finger, thanks you all of you.

Unfotunately the creation of my custom setting has not gone as smoothly--it has been (and still is) a complete nightmare. I have a lot to say on that subject but I''ll save it for another thread. I just wanted to say hello and thank you first, and show off some pictures of my fiancee''s diamond!!

it is a 1.35ct G VS2 Ideal Cut with a GIA cert. It has 3 steps on the crown and 5 on the pavillion, and has slight fluorescence. I would call it a "small step" cut and it has a gorgeous, deep look to it.
