Congratulations on a gorgeous purchase. My first thought is "it''s so sparkly", then, "it''s so huge". After the shot with the EC, it''s "I have to know more about the EC".

sparkles, it''s really pretty easy, as long as the sun is shining! Just put her on something outside, pereferably stable. If it''s a rather precarious spot, put a towel down around it in case it falls.

Make sure flash is off, macro on. Then just look through the view finder and start moving around. When you get fire, it usually won''t look like it does in blown up pics. A lot of times you just see what looks like a white spike, blob, ball, etc. of white light (although sometimes you will see color). Once you get that, then focus in on it. (That part can be a bit tricky, because if you have to move to get it to focus, you often lose the fire. But sometimes you''ll get the sun hitting it in a spot where you can move a lot and still get fire) Then shoot, and when you blow it up you''ll get the true pic.

Usually you''ll get a good amount of decent shots with those. Just experiment, and you''ll begin to get the hang of it. It''s fun!!
