Since there has been some negativity in this forum as of late, I thought I'd try to change that around by letting you all know that this community is truly great for a newbie like myself. A month ago I knew nothing about diamonds (the 4c's what's that?) and now I probably know more than anyone I run into (knowing what truly a great cut is, idealscopes, ASET images, etc.) and I couldn't have done any of that without reading all the great posts from all of you!
This place is just a wealth of knowledge that you can't find anywhere else. And hearing people's differing opinions help too - some of you think going higher than eye clean is better well spent on size, while some of you think have a tiny yellow tint on an H from the side is perfectly fine. Hearing these different opinions help and definitely made me understand better what I preferred.
And now my girlfriend (now fiance) has a great ring with the help and insight from many of you here. One that she can look at every day for the rest of her life. So, again, thank you!
