So I''ve finally made my decision (https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/how-does-this-2ct-round-look.109212/) and have decided on a 1.55 ct G HCA from Whiteflash. Thanks for the feedback, particularly Lorelei! The 2.04 referenced in the thread had something going on with it, my appraiser couldn''t recommend it so I won''t either.

In fact, my appraiser told me that the diamond I picked was a diamond he would buy, if he were in the market ... quite certain I wouldn''t have made such a good decision had I not found this forum.

Now - for the setting. Just tried one on at Tiffany''s that I love, called the "deco" it''s a four-prong setting with channel set square emeralds. If anyone has seen such a setting love to know about it!

Thanks pricescope. Will post pics once the deal is done. Actually not technically engaged yet .......
