Thank you pricescope,

I finally popped the question lask week, and the ring was done the day before I actually popped the question. Talk about a close call. Thanx to this forum, I learned a lot about diamonds, and my buying experience is a lot more enjoyable rather than discomforting since buying such a little shiny thing for such a big price can sometimes be scary.

Special thanx to:
1. GOG team.
2. Whiteflash.
3. Greenlake Jewelry.
4. Ben Bridge.

Here are the pictures. The specs are 1.79 ct solasfera G VS2 and side stones are whiteflash ACA .4 F SI1

Thank you for the compliments guys, I am glad she really loved the ring. Wouldnt be able to do it without this forum. I would have been at the mercy of B&M vendors.

Anyway, now she is noticing the dirt on the corner of the setting and me too. Any suggestions on how to clean it? Im just using a lint free cloth now maybe getting a small brush to clean it. Its very hard to get dirt in the space between the prongs. Ive been looking at it with the loupe, its very hard to clean it. Can it be a chip? or am I just hallucinating lol. It looks like oil, could it be a residue from when the setter set the diamond into the ring? Could they have fractured or melted the diamond?

Here are some more pictures of the ring for better details and some hand shots.

Rocky, if you are going to be here, you must know the PS motto...There is no such thing as TOO MANY photos!!!

Congrats, it is such an incredible ring. I love love love the side view and it looks so nice on her hand...you are taking some great bling shots already!

Oh wow, the side view is stunning, it''s SO different. I''ve never seen anything like it...I love it!!

As for cleaning, it would be worth your while to invest in an Ultrasonic cleaner. Hand cleaning just doesn''t cut it, I know, I tried it. And I don''t let anything get on my ring at all....

I hand clean it every day, with hot soapy water (Dawn), and a cleaning brush. I actually have two, an old soft toothbrush, and one that came in a bottle of jewelry cleaner. Then once or twice a week, I use a US cleaner.

Love the new pictures! It is nice to see the profile of that beautiful setting!!! And I second the suggestion to buy an ultrasonic cleaner. In the meantime you could take it to a jeweler and have them clean it in their steamer.

HI:

Very beautiful...well done!

cheers--Sharon

Holy Moly - that is a work of art from every angle! I''m sure she was blown away.
