Thank you for pearl re-stringing info

I was given a strand of pearls for my 21st birthday (quite some time ago now), and knew I needed to think about getting them restrung. Well, lo and behold, they broke at the clasp as I was taking them off a couple of weeks ago. Through an internet search I found this forum. It gave me good pointers, and I recently got the pearls back from a local jeweler. They look like new again! I did call around beforehand, and was amazed and the different price quotes I got as well as how long they expected it to take.
