Thank You BRIAN, for helping me choose a stone. We actually talked over the phone for an hour and a half. After looking through several H@A diamonds and considering size, color, and clarity, we came up with:
Report: AGS
Shape: ACA Round
Carat: 1.532
Color: G
Clarity: SI1 (eye-clean face up and from sides, clear inclusions)
Depth: 60.8
Table: 56.5
Crown: 35.1
Crown %: 15.3
Pavilion: 40.9
Pavilion %: 43.2
Girdle: 33.1
Polish: Ideal
Symmetry: Ideal
Culet: Pointed
Fluorescence: Negligible
Measurements: 7.47-7.48-4.54
Price: $12,286 with Pricescope discount.
I know alot of people here think that the demensions are off (crown 35.1), and I told him that this is why I never considered this stone. He reassured me that this stone performs just as well as the other stones we were considering, so we looked at color and clarity, and I took the G SI1 over the I VS1.
The 1.514 G I had originally picked out was eye-clean, but the inclusions were darker than the one I chose. The Ideal Scope was excellent also.
