The sphene and zircon from multicolour came today!

All that I have are iphone pics but they show the colors quite well. Quality is lacking in a big way but what the heck...here''s a few. Will hopefully post more later this evening.

That sphene is gorgeous and I like the last picture with the huge flash coming off the zircon. I find that the fuzzy pictures actually show the true colours much more accurately.

The sun wasn''t playing nice today. I got home and the clouds rolled in. So, no sunshine pics today and that''s when the sphene comes alive. Ignore the green in these pics too. My camera would not capture it accurately and to top it off the only rainbows that I see in the pictures are in the blurry shots. But boy does this stone have some life! I am going to try again to capture it more accurately.

The zircon wasn''t being very photogenic...the sphene came out looking more yellow or olive AND the orange didn''t come out right either...

Blurry or not, I like what I’m seeing. Do you plan to eventually set both stones?

I'd love to set the sphene in a pendant. I adore the flash and color play it shows. I'm undecided on the zircon. I'm going to keep it as it only cost me $7 but if I do set it, it'll probably be for my daughter or one of my sisters. It'll be put in a piece that doesn't really matter if it gets lost or damaged...no tears would be shed on my end anyway.
