Terminology Q:

Is a hearts and arrows (round) also known as a round brilliant?

Can a round brilliant have hearts & arrows and still be called a round brilliant?

no and yes

not all round brilliants are cut to H&A specs
round brilliant is basically just round cut diamond - could be a fair cut or an ideal cut.

No seriously, yes, a round shaped H & A is also rferred to as a round brilliant.

A diamond need not be round to have H&A.

There are now a few manufacturers who produce square H&A cuts.
