Wondering what TCW would look the best. My E ring is 2.75 ct round and I am thinking of wearing it with my Cartier Roadster watch. I want to wear it everyday. Any recommendations?

Funnily enough I''ve been trying some on today. 1ct (total weight) looked absolutely tiny and dainty and really not suitable for every day wear and I have about 6" wrist to give you a perspective.

1.5 (about 100 diamonds of around 1mm ish) was very small also.

2ct didn''t look much bigger.

4ct looked great (not big but looked like it wouldn''t break in a heart beat) but I always baulk at paying a lot for many small diamonds!

All of the above were 4 claw set in a traditional tennis style bracelet. I ended up not buying one and going for a different style all together!

LovingDiamonds - Thanks for the response. What style did you go with?

I bought a Tiffany style bubble bracelet! So the only similarity is that it has diamonds! I just wanted something more substantial without the substantial price tag IYKWIM!

I have a 2 ctw and I wear it with other braclets and like it okay. I would not mind a 4 or 5 ctw but doubt I''ll ever spring for kind of money.

HI:

Agreed. I''ve owned 2 and 4 ctw bracelets and recently helped in buying one 5 ctw for a relative. I did not notice a big difference between the 2-4 ctw, but after 5

HI:

I''ve owned a few inn differenet ctw and believe that big sparkle does not necessiarly equal big carat weight. A bracelet with great cut stones in a small carat weight would be great. For daily wear I have a 3 ctw bangle, and it is wonderful.

cheers--Sharon

I just purchased a 18k white gold 7 inch (little big on my wrist) 5.53 ct. tennis bracelet and I think it is a perfect size! It really shines and sparkles, I love it!

I have a 3.5ct bezel set tennis bracelet and I wear it on the same hand as my watch and e-ring. It''s a nice little line of bling, without being overpowering or trying too hard. It can look quite casual with jeans etc. If I''m dressing up a little, I switch it to my other hand or wear it with just a shared prong eternity band, and it''s big enough to be a stand alone piece, too.

I would like to upgrade at some point, for better cut diamonds, but even with so-so cut stones, it''s quite a bling hit.

Sandy,

just make sure it doesn''t scratch your Roadster.

This 10+ ct belong to Cflutist.... 6.5" bracelet made with 32 - .33ct stones.

That is a beautiful, beautiful thing.

i have a three stone ring with a 1.75 center and 2 @.45, size 4 1.4. my bracelet is 6 3/8 inch, platinum with .12 to .13 each melee, total weight 5.2cts. i occasionally wear it with an diamond bezel omega constellation. not too much.....but it could be smaller. it is perfect alone on my other wrist, or with a similarly sized alternating diamond and sapphire bracelet.
