Temporarily resize

Help!!
It will be at least 2 weeks until I am able to get my ring appraised, insured, and resized etc. If I can''t get all the money together right now, it could be 2 months! Is there a product on the market that you can clip on the band to tighten it around your finger until I can get the ring resized?

I can sortof picure a little semi-circurcular clip on type thingie that goes inside the ring to keep it on.

Anyone with any ideas or places where i could find something like this.

Many retailers will give you an adjustable ring guard that is a temporary cure for a little bit too large a ring.
Some might sell you the same thing for a few dollars and install it for you. Some fit in, other bend in to fit. They are either base metal or plastic and don''t look bad. The metal ones will scratch the ring a little.

I guess a few people still use the wrapped band-aid approach, too.
