Like Ellen said in the other thread, it faces up just a bit smaller, but it''s really lovely. I would snap it up.

Very hypnotic. The cut really pulls me in. Order it now, before someone else does.

If the vendor verifies the stone is eye-clean, I would say it''s a winner!

As far as eyeclean goes, they said it was definitely eyeclean. They even said it was mostly clean at 10x. Here''s the 40x shot:

Looks like you really picked a winner!

Have you picked out a setting?

Sorry about the late reply. I''ve picked out a setting at a local jeweler. It''s very simple. It is composed of about .20 ctw of diamonds along the top of a 2.5mm platinum band with a 6-prong setting. I''m going to pick the diamond up from FedEx in a couple of hours. I''m so excited.

The ring will be finished this afternoon. I hope to take some pictures tonight. The diamond is beautiful, and it will look great in the setting. I''m very happy with it. One last question I have is: Looking at all the specs., do you think the amount I paid ($3400) is a fair price. I think it was fair, but I was hoping others would like to weigh in. A 40x image and an idealscope image are near the beginning of the thread. I can look at prices for diamonds that are similar using the PS search, but I was hoping to get some independent evaluations.

excellent price, really...

Avoided the one carat mark.
eyeclean SI2.
G color, top of near colorless.
Expert Selection

It would be easy enough to get a 1 ct G VS2 ACA for twice as much.

I''d have to echo what Julie is saying... for all intents and purposes, "$3.4k for a 1ct diamond." Great job!!
