Tell me about diamonds in different lighting

This morning I was sitting under a tree on a foggy cloud-covered morning around 9 am and I observed my 1.2 carat oval making to most beautiful and unique show. The sparkles were really sharp and seemed like double the number of facets or more! were reflecting. It was mesmerizing! I have never noticed this before and I guess it surprised me being a cloudy day. I don’t even know how to describe it but maybe there is a word for it. I would have shot some video but being in church it seemed the wrong thing to do. LOL!! What different environments have you observed that make your diamonds behave in different ways? I’d love to experiment more.
