Tech gurus...paper jam error in my HP Office Jet J6480

I need some tech help. I''m getting a paper jam error from my HP Office Jet J6480 all-in-one printer and there''s no paper jam. I''ve checked all of the rollers and doors according to HPs troubleshooting directions about 10 times and the error isn''t clearing. I''d really prefer not to have to take it somewhere to be serviced. Has anyone else had this problem or do you know how to fix it???

take a strong flashlight and look for a bit of paper stuck in it.
if you find none pick it up and shake it after shutting it off and unplugging it first.

I''ve checked it with the flashlight but I''ve not shaken it...I''ll give that a try.

I had one of these printers they jam ALL THE TIME, it was awful, ours was under warranty so HP replaced the old one and gave us a new one, well it worked for a little while (we hardley ever use printers) then this one stated the same thing again, HP refused to help the 2nd time around because it was 1 month out of warranty, it was the worse printer I have ever had

We finally gave up and got a Canon printer and we havent had any problems at all. Good luck with yours, even if you get the thing to reset and the error message goes away the first time you try to print something it will probably happen again
