I've been asked in another thread to post my EightStar tattoo. That's been a number of years. Some obviously remembered; to some it will be new. Here goes:

On paper, the reference:

Stage one, rather like cutting the stone:

The end product after polishing:

With irregularities in the skin, I don't think it would grade perfect by GIA but I like it, and that's all that matters.

This is so cool & unique!

The Rolex coronet:

And the Panerai logo:

=)

I hope you're being well-paid to be a walking ad for these companies. ;)2

Rolex would probably sue me for some kind of violation.

Good point! Maybe best to quietly enjoy your tattoos and not press for compensation. :lol-2:

Very neat!

Well hello Rodentman! Long time no see! I'm surprised you have a cat avatar, no squirrel?:wavey:

Very cool @rodentman and I bet the red fill was none too fun because it looks quite heavy. :cry2:

Fantastic line work and great color saturation :appl::appl::appl:

Rodentman! Miss your squirrel! How you been?

Those are really cool, but I can't help thinking about the pain required in order to get that depth of color.

If you're not part of the solution you're part of the precipitate.
Live healthy: Overeat in moderation.

I love this.

Interesting:???:

I've got a number of tats that relate to my music and fishing passions, I am still yet to get a lapidary-related tattoo. This is so cool!!

Hey hey hey I see a fluffy tail! Show me the fur baby tat!

Remarkable tats!!!

I too miss l'il squirrel- and also glad to see what feels like a veeeeeery old friend.

Wait.....don't tell me the cat ate the pool little squirrel???

I changed my avatar from the squirrel to Spotty the Bengal whom we recently lost to diabetes. I bought her in Jan 2003 and gave her to my older son several years later after he lost one of his cats to kidney failure. Spotty was a crazy kitty, and we enjoyed her antics for many wonderful years.

My other tattoos are rodents. I don't have any cat tattoos.

I am flattered that some people remember me. We'll see how the welcome back goes now that it's out there that I am a conservative and firearms owner.

Love your tatoos!!! The diamond is so cool!! W:love:w!!

As long as you post pictures of bling, no one will care about you being a conservative. But we welcome you to the very small PS minority of conservatives. :mrgreen2: And hello, cause I haven't been here that long....:wavey:

there's no reason why conservatives and liberal/democrats whatever's can't love diamonds and jewelry and tats if one is so interested, I am not interested in tats myself but your mileage can certainly vary..

I'm trying to figure out which hairy body part this is....

That is my very hairy shoulder!

And I changed the avatar again since I couldn't really bear to look at Spotty the late Bengal. So now we have Pandarus our precious Siamese who hopefully will be with us a long time.

You have nuts on your arm....

I see I took the bait.

<the way you set the world straight is by constraining the malevolence in your own heart>

How ironic.

What bait? I was teasing because I have had a few. It happens.

I have no malevolence for anyone, so not ironic for me. :mrgreen2:

BTW I have plenty of tats. And weapons. Lighten up Francis. ;)2

Or as I like to say, “unclench.”

IMG_6223.JPG Omg that diamond!

Here's my self-made safety pin and India ink attempt, circa 1983.

Egad 35 years ago?!? Back then, only prison imnates and military personnel had tattoos. I was 17 and of course knew everything.
