Target lovers, I request your help!!

Paul and I registered at Target, and my boy found this shower curtain that he just loved: it''s a New York skyline and he adores skylines and the like. Anyway, it''s now been removed from online purchase, placed on clearance, and is not available in any stores around me.

If any of you are Target frequenters, if you can PLEASE try to locate item number 064020878, which is called Mass Transist Photo Real Shower Curtain, I would be *so* appreciative.

The towel is still available, for now, online. It looks like this, and the shower curtain is it''s twin, in vinyl form:

I called the customer service number, and apparently all stores that have it have it clearanced, so that makes it more difficult to track how many they have in the store. So they say.

I went ahead and ordered the towel tonight, so at least there will be some aspect of the skyline theme my boy loves in the bathroom. The only way I agreed to the scheme, because I really am not loving it, is because it''s black, white, and gray. So, maybe if we find a shower curtain that''s some abstract design in black, white, and/or gray, it''ll work, along with the towel. I don''t know. Anyway, I still hope we find the shower curtain, somewhere in this world.

I wonder if Overstock.com would have it? I don''t even know who the manufacturer is. It took an hour on the phone with customer service to get the item number.

I''ll give it a shot this weekend. There are a few Targets around me and I haven''t been on a treasure hunt in a while! It is a cool shower curtain. That''s the problem with a Target registry though... they rotate their merchandise WAY too often for an effective registry, must be really irritaiting!

Thank you, KY6, for doing a little search for me. So far, no luck. Paul seems okay now with us having the towel and improvising on the shower curtain. And he says he doesn''t care at all about home decor. Yeah, right!

A friend of mine at work just recently got married *November 2,* and she said that things changed on their Target registry quite regularly, as they were engaged quite a bit longer than Paul and I will be, and so their registry was available longer. She said that she ended up deleting a lot of things because the store just has such a quick turn over on their merchandise. She didn''t have that problem with Bed Bath and Beyond, and I''ve yet to experience it, either. So that''s a positive.
Anyway, I guess that''s just one of the things that comes with registering. I still love being able to *sneak peeks* at what''s been taken off the list. I guess it''s cheating, but it''s fun. You only get the opportunity a few times in life, when you get married, have children, buy a house. Might as well take advantage of it, I say!

i actually work for target. it''s true what customer service told you. that line went clearance at the end of summer. it was part of the back to college items that was carried.
i have 2 suggestions.
1. wait until next year, because it was a rather popular line...that towel MAY return.
2. there''s a company that can out ANY picture you want on any fabric of choice. Since you have the pic already, i''d try option 2.

I would LOVE it if it came back again, especially if no stores still have it as a clearance item. If not, I will look for a place that can perhaps take the picture from the towel, and drop it onto vinyl.

I looked all over my Target Greatland and I couldn''t find it.

I do have confidence it will be back next year though because I just bought my 2nd cube ottoman! We bought one last year and decided to get a 2nd one but once we went back they were all gone! Well, they came back!!! I snatched the last brown one of the shelves tonight. HAUNT your target next summer. and buy two! vinyl shower curtains have a short life but if Paul likes it that much, you''ll want it around for a while!
