i have been wearing a plain wedding band with my e-ring (1.5 ct center stone with 2 tapered baguettes on either side). i recently upgraded to an eternity band but i'm not sure if i love how they look together. please show me your tapered baguette side stone e-rings with diamond eternity bands please!

Hi alial, while my ring doesn't have a round center stone it does have tapered side stones. It tool me a long time to find the perfect band to wear with it. I think it works because the band has small rounds that match the halo stones and baguettes that match the side stones. Maybe something along these lines would work better with your ring?

I dont have an eband but just wanted to say I feel your pain. I have a pear with baguettes on either side. I didnt
want the matching wedding band because I just didnt feel like it was blingy enough. I ended up with a 5 stone .81 ctw
ring which I love but...I'm proabably still going to reset my pear into a bead set eternity band (or 3/4 band) and get
the matching wedding band. I'll use the 5 stone as a RHR. You can see my set in my avatar

To be honest, I usually try to discourage people from getting a setting like mine. The only wedding band that really works
well with it is the one that matches it. :((

Do you have any pictures of your ring?

Hi there, I have baguette sidestones (you can see pic in my avatar) and I like the fact that there is a gap between the eternity ring and my wedding ring. There was a band that would have matched that fit underneath but it was almost like a wrap which I don't like. I also didn't like that you couldn't wear the band by itself for days when you don't want to wear your e-ring. I feel the gap gives more finger coverage and makes the stone look bigger. I sometimes debate on resetting my engagement ring but I just haven't found something that I like as much and I love that this setting is such a classic setting. I ended up going with a princess cut channel set as I didn't love a shared prong band with it. Hope that helps! Please post pics of your e-ring!

attached before and after pics as requested. thanks again for all of your feedback!!!!

Personally, I like it with both the plain band and eternity band. Super blingy!!! Is your diamond eternity band with round brilliants or a square stone?

I much prefer the plain band. Sorry! I think a smaller eternity would work too, maybe with 5-8 pointers.

Ditto - I like the simple elegance of the plain band, too.

I have to say the one reason I did get my 5 stone ring is that they start and stop at the ends of my baguettes. I like
the symmetry in that way.

I don't have a pic, but I love that look - I may add sidestones like that myself for our 10th anniversary - either tapered baguettes or bullets to go with my 2 ct RB center stone & 8 pt eternity band. I tried on that look at a jewelry store and I loved it.

I do have to say that I didn't like an eternity band with stones over 8 pts with it, or it overwhelmed my center stone. I would stick to 5-8 pt stones in your eternity.

One of the most elegant sets I've seen was a princess e-ring with baguette sidestones and the wedding band was an eternity with alternating baguettes and princess cuts. I'm also partial to full baguette eternities. I think that the look works rather well, but it can be a matter of scale and proportion.
