Hi All,
You may remember part one of this project wherein I began remodeling my grandmother's ring. Here is a link to that thread:

Here is part 2:

I had one of the .10 carat diamonds set into a 14kt WG bezel and had a 9" sterling silver chain added on with a lobster claw clasp to make a diamond anklet. The diamond is G-H/VS and sparkles and shines.

See photos!

Also pictured is my .33 ctw diamond and platinum toe ring from last Christmas.

I am not sure what part 3 will be as of yet. I have 22 (.08 carat each) G-H/VS diamonds left over. I have been considering an eternity band for my size 4.75 finger (so 22 diamonds would be enough), but haven't decided yet. I kind of feel like I should do something more unusual with the remaining diamonds but am not creative enough to come up with ideas. Suggestions welcome, of course. =)

That is beautiful! I really like both things you did with the diamonds. I really like the idea of the eternity band...you did "unusual" things with the rest of the diamonds and an eternity band is such a classic, timeless piece. I think that whatever you do you made excellent use of all the stones!

What a creative idea! Love the ankle bracelet - dainty and sparkly - perfect!

I think an eternity ring is a nice way to use those 22 .08 stones. It's very timeless and beautiful and I am sure it is something you will wear all the time and think of your grandmother!

Hi Amys Bling and Mrsacornblue - Thank you - the stones would be perfect for an eternity band, but I feel like I have too many rings already. My wedding band is a 5 stone ring and, at some point, I'd like to get a new engagement ring. An eternity band might work well with my eventual e-ring upgrade. I feel like these diamonds do lend themselves to being part of an eternity band, but I also feel like I don't need another ring. Maybe I'll have to have one made in this case. :naughty:

MissGotRocks - thanks! It's fun having an anklet with a real diamond!
