Tanzanite & Diamond Pave Halo Ring Pics...

Hi Guys, meet my new ring!

Its an oval tanzanite, bezel set, with a 1.5ct diamond pave halo in 18ct yellow gold. Gotta figure out how I''m going to clean this one without blasting it in the ultrasonic!

It was a surprise gift from DH, 2 weeks after my birthday. You may recall from previous posts that there has been an ongoing situation with my father and we were waiting for things to be resolved officially. Well, that happened at the start of the month, and he has received a sentence we feel to be appropriate for the things he did. However, despite what he did, it was still difficult to think that part of the evidence against him came from me - and I had a tough time immediately afterwards caught up with misplaced guilt etc etc.

Anyway, DH felt he should cheer me up and presented me with this yesterday, so without further ado here are some really really bad pics as it is throwing it down outside and the light is dreadful (well thats my excuse and I''m sticking to it!)

it is just beautiful.What is the weight of the Tanzie and the mm size?Tanzanite is my favorite.When it is the dark blue with the red flashes....it seems like you just fall into it.You just never can have enough.You can clean it in warm mild dish detergent and use a toothbrush on the diamonds but NOT the Tanzanite.
