Tanzanite crystals

Check out these tanzy crystals i got in the mail today..the 2 small ones are clean and one is 5.01ct. and the other is 6.25ct...t5hey are fully formed crystals

and this one is 41.40cts. it''s a sweet bi-color with a good green..it has many flaws but has about 5 areas that are cuttable but would only produce stones in the 1/2ct. to 1ct. range

Some really beautiful shades of blue you have there, and the bi-color 40+ct one is just so interesting!

Very nice colour and the bi-colour is amazing. It’s pity it won’t cut a solid single piece.

Oh Amguy, please don''t cut the bi-colour crystal. It''s wonderful as is. It''s easy to get a 1ct unheated bicolour Tanzy but crystals (I would think are much harder to find). I absolutely love love love it. Please don''t cut it!

Wow @ the bicolor. It looks like the globe, in a really good way. Can you just wrap that baby in some silver wire and let it hang on a chain?

Gorgeous! I just got Tanzy also - I''m not certain that I like it though... I''m still on the fence about if i"m going to keep it or send it back for a different one. I also got some sphene, peridot, sunstone, spinel, sapphire, and a few other less expensive items. I''m working on cutting a variety of stones. Still working on topaz, I have another that I''m cutting, this one is going MUCH better - I got a new polishing lap.

Hey Jypsie..I am on hiatus right now waiting for some more 3000 diamond to come in..also am waiting on a new transfer block that i ordered from graves in August..i am about fed up waiting for it..said it''s on back order..well heck i would have gone someplace else..got some diopside coming in I might try and cut..as far as that tanzy crystal the bi-color i put it up on ebay this evening..didn''t even get to admire it for 24 hours..sniffle..sniffle..

Also wanted to show you guys this..i got around 500 grams of unheated tanzanite..mostly opaque pieces and chunks..to sell to folks who don't want to spend alot..I had my buddy Jim heat it for me..turned out a pretty decent blue..if i have them sent through another time they will get much darker..got the unheated stuff for super cheap and now it's heated it will sell much better than the sickly brown/gold..even a few pinks and greens came out after heating

Nope, no cabbing just all for resale
