I don''t know if its just pms or what.....do you have those moments where your really upset over something, and deep down, your kinda wondering if your really being rational about it? And then you come up with reasons to justify your upsetness? Yeah. I''m having one of those moments. In some ways, its just so dumb. But yet, its really has me upset. I sent someone an email about a day and 1/2 ago. And they didn''t respond. Yeah. See? Dumb. Real dumb. There''s a little more to it than that, but I''m going to skip on the details. I''m just really worked up over it. That is not my nature at all!!! Please!!! Talk me down!

PMS gets the best of us. I''m sure your email has been overlooked temporarily or maybe the recepient hasn''t had time to type out the response it deserves. It''s just email. Once upon a time we actually wrote letters and it took way longer than a day and a half for a response!!

Take a few cleansing breaths and take a walk if you can.

Hope you day gets better!

Are you sure they just haven''t gotten the chance to check their inbox yet? Think how terrible you''d feel if the person had something horrible happen and that''s why they haven''t responded--it''ll keep you from showing your butt too much, haha! Nothing wrong with feeling upset over something silly though--you can''t help how you feel. Everybody acts nutty sometimes.

Well, you feel like you''re being ignored or that your efforts at communication have gone unacknowledged, sure I can see where you may feel slighted. PMS will only exacerbate that! Fortunately you recognize that your current state of mind is being affected by the evils of hormone fluctuations, so just remember that you will be fine in a few days.

Aw, I''m sorry Joflier.

Can you contact this person using another means, like text message or a phone call?

I''m sure they''re not ignoring you! Maybe they just haven''t sat down at the computer lately.

Ditto or maybe it went to spam or something like that? I''d give them a call, I am sure all is fine.

Thanks guys! That helps. I''m sure they just probably haven''t checked yet, or something. Maybe the internet is down. Just got to get through another day or two, and this mood shall pass. I''m not usually out of control hormonal, but I sure am today. Yuck.

Sometimes people send me email to an old address that I almost never check -- maybe once every couple weeks and it might be longer if I''m really busy. It''s mostly for junk mail. No matter how many people I tell to use my other address, some just slip through the cracks! Maybe something like that happened? Also, I know that my parents rarely check their email because they assume nobody sends them anything...and then are surprised to have 100 new email sitting there when they finally get around to it. It''s hard to remember sometimes that not everyone is on a computer 24/7. I don''t know if either of these apply to the person you wrote to, but they''re possibilities!

Yeah, not so much. It''s a work email address that''s used pretty frequently. It was just a situation where I really needed some support. The email I sent, didn''t necessarily warrant a response. I didn''t ask any questions. Just expressing some frustration (not at this person) and was looking for a shoulder, I guess. In any event, I just felt let down, even though they may very well not have looked at it yet.

Aww honey. I know what PMS does and I also know how feeling let down is. I would try to let this one go. For your own peace of mind. And next time don''t go to that person for support if you feel they won''t help you. We are here if you need us (((hugs)))

Your post just reminded me to respond to an email that I have been meaning to send. My memory is awful these days. I sometimes wish my friends would send me a follow up saying "reading your emails, already"

It''s probably no more than an oversight.

Sometime I get an email on my blackberry, and don''t answer because I need to attach something from my computer, or it''s too long for me to want to respond to on a phone. But then I go home and forget about it (since it''s no longer bolded in the inbox because I opened it on my phone) until an I get another irate email wondering where I''ve floated off to, lol. These things happen, hope you hear back soon!

I get upset when people don''t respond to me right away either. I''m pretty prompt. You said it was a work email. I only check my work email M-F. Not on the weekends. I also get a LOT of emails that are work related this time of year, so my inbox is chock full and I don''t have time to give the love and suport a loved one might need while I''m at work. If it seemed that this person needed a shoulder, I''d return the email with a quick "I''ll call you later.." so they knew I got it.. but I''d return it with a phone call.

HUGE HUGS
