....because B and I are engaged!!!
It happened Saturday night (I have been trying to post this all week but my computer wouldn''t let me...argh).
We went to his uncles house to hang out with his family. We were there for a little bit, when he asked me to come with him to his car to get a change of clothes. I said ok and went with him. We got to his car and he pops open the trunk. He pretended to hand me his clothes and instead he hands me a box. I looked at the box and thought "oh this must be my anniversary present" I opened it and it was the ring! I was completely shocked and just kept looking at the ring, then him. I asked him if this was real. A minute or so later(im not sure because it felt like time stood still), he asked me if I would marry him and I said yes. The proposal was so random and very us and he totally caught me off guard. After we stayed outsidea bit and let it all sink in, I didn''t want that moment to be over. Right now just typing this is bringing tears to my eyes. I am so happy and excited!
Now on to the ring:
It is a 1.08 carat princess cut stone H color, VS2, in a .5 carat channel setting in platinum
Its so sparkly!!!
