Hi again,
I went to the mall and looked and found the smaller version of the Koala band, the one that goes witht he Rosebud, but when i tried it on, it was alittle thinner, but still I didn''t think thin enough.
So, they had this one by Tacori. It''s not the match to the Koala but I thought it looked good, wanted to know if you think i should return it and just get the thinner band that goes with the RoseBud, it is the exact match. It''s more money than this one, this one doesn''t have the scaloping on the sides, but you can''t really see it anyway. anyway, what do you think of this one, or do you think I should just spend the xtra money and get the thinner version of the exact match.
Its just a slight bit thicker than this one.

This was the original band that is thick, the exact match with the Koala design.

The only problem i see with this thinner tacori band, is it looks like the round diamonds are channel set, and the e-ring Koala has prong set rounds.
Do you think that will make a difference, to the point, that I should get the smaller version of the Koala Band, it''s not much smaller, just alittle thinner.
This one is a lot thinner.

Hi Carolyn,
Is the matching one, the thicker one, uncomfortable? I really like the matching band as opposed to the smaller one you are showing. If you really want the smaller one, then yes I would order the one that has the shared prong setting instead of the channel set. I''m a matchy person so the closer it matches the better to me. Either way you decide, you really have a beautiful set!

Yeah, the matching one is a bit uncomfortable because it''s too thick.
So, in your opinion it would be better to get the exact match, but
alittle thinner. They do have that one, I think that is what I will do,
this one is channel set, and it doesn''t really look great. Thanks for your
advice.

i agree that thiinner band looks odd because the diamonds are set differently, i would get the matching band but thinner, definitely.

Ugh, so you do like the thinner band Mara, but the exact matching band.
That is what I''ll do then, is get the exact match, but thinner band.
Thanks Mara and everyone.

So your e-ring is the Koala, right? And you already own the matching Koala band?

Yes, and I own the thicker koala band, and its too thick, and of course it''s not returnable or
exchangable.

so, that is why im frustrated again.

I plan on just living with it I think until i can earn more money and
not be so strapped to get it now.

I''m sorry you are not happy with the koala band you have. If it''s any consolation, I really like it with your matching e-ring. It looks awesome. However, I do understand if it''s not comfortable, this is something you will wear daily and comfort is a big factor. Just wanted to tell you again how beautiful your set is.

Hi, Thank you Libster and Ginger for your nice compliments.
Yeah, i wish I would have gotten the matching koala band
but I guess Ill get the thinner one, and then I guess
Ill have 3 rings that match. I can always wear the thicker one
by itself if I don''t wear the e-ring.

Now I have to go today and see about ordering the thinner
matching,Im hoping it does take 6 weeks so i can save for it.

I really wish the jeweler would have suggested the thinner, but
they never seem to know exactly what is right. I just wish they
did. My fault really, its hard when you don''t actually wear it
out of the store to know what is best.

Thanks again, Ill send a picture once i get the thinner one.

Carolyn,

Your set is very, very beautiful (I wish I had your problem

). I find that a thinner band makes your center stone appear bigger (I''m not sure why), but I think it looks gorgeous either way

Thank you for the compliments. I am going go get the smaller band tacori.
It just will be awhile. I also think it shows off the center diamond more
with the smaller band.
