Firstly, this is my new "dream" ring but I would have it with pink sapphires to match my BGD eternity. Has anyone on PS got this? Second, can anyone photoshop the sapphires into pink for me? Also considering the option of the RB being a pink sapphire but not sure on that, just a thought. If I went that way I think I'd have the shields as diamonds. would love to see these options if anyones able? Attaching the band so the colour is there. While I'm on the bandwagon I have also thought of a "nightingale" with the side bezel diamonds in a pink sapphire. That could look quite lovely also. Thanks

ETA I would have a plain band on this as the fancy sides are personally not my style

colour closeup - I find that I am wearing this on its own a lot. I started with it against my wedder but my wedder was a bit wide & bulky for it. am now contemplating a new ER style ring, or a baguette band with alternating baguettes and BGD melee. Longer term I would love to have both ;-) but my jewellery wish list is quite comprehensive so I need to not be too greedy ...

I know someone who has this ring with the blue sapphires. I''ll have to get a picture and it will take me about 10 minutes. BRB.

cool, thanks EmeraldLover1 ... Ps I so adore your ring, it''s my absolute PS fave!! I thought about changing my princess to the Tacori equivalent style but imo it looks nowhere near as good without the emerald.

aww, thanks! Here is the picture. This is from a pw member.

so gorgeous, do you think it would work with pinks? here''s a gorgeous example with the main stone in pink but different style ... i''m not usually a coloured stone person but I am embracing them in the absence of a serious diamond upgrade slush fund!

Of course it will work! I happen to love the blues but if you aren''t a blue person than take on the pink! Sorry, I don''t have photoshop.

I love the blues, but if you like pink I think it would be lovely with pink shields.

A pink center stone with diamond shields could also be pretty, but it would be a very different look (gems tone ring w/diamond accents vs. diamond ring with gemstones accents (Wow, how''s that for being captain obvious

Lovely rings. I think the ring you are looking at would look great with pink sapphires.

I think it would look beautiful! I love those baguette/round delicate bands in that pic! I remember one PS''er buying them from the web, but they were out of them by the time I could find them. Does anyone have any info on them (sorry to thread jack--I''m not sure if this qualifies or not :)

My best (mediocre) effort, I''m by no means a photoshop expert! Hope it helps

Hey Lestat, that''s a perfect job - good enough for me. Thanks so much. Bella_mezzo, marcyc thanks for your input. I am a pink girl at heart! EHR2009, I know those bands are gorgeous aren''t they. I have found similar styles but now I don''t remember where! If I do I will let you know

Those bands were from Sonia Bitton when she was with Shop NBC. She has since left and is on her own selling through two of her own websites.

I just found them, still the same price. http://www.soniabdesigns.com/viewItem.asp?idProduct=1808

Wow, I LOVE this setting. I like the blue and pink equally and think it will be BEAUTIFUL!

Thank you so much, Gemgirl! I have been trying to find those for forever!

yes those bands are gorgeous, I wonder if its an Adwar setting in which case doable with some gorgeous melee. back to the main ring though, I think it could be a winner. need to get some pricing and a budget! thanks for all your help, as always

here is another little tacori that i am hopeful of using as a design start for a pendant. I haven''t noticed whether anyone has one of these but again I think it''s just gorgeous.

My god, this ring is stunning, who''s it by.. where did the pic come from, details please!! ;-) is that a halo around the centre stone???

Manisha

Hi Manisha, it''s a Tacori and yes it has a halo around the centre stone. I love their halo because it is so small and subtle. Not sure of the item number off the top of my head, but just check the tacori website.

That Tacori pendant is stunning! and I just saw the Verragio pendant in person yesterday. Also gorgeous. It''s really too bad that these pieces are over the top expensive.

loveit, your ring will be beautiful.

thanks Gemgirl, I am tossing up between squeezing an early 10 year anniversary upgrade out of my DH and another custom pendant project. Not sure which to tackle first, it will depend mostly on pricing. I would actually do the Tacori style but with an oval or cushion diamond set east-west to enhance finger coverage. This is the very beginning of this project because I''ve not seen a design I really liked that included coloured stones.

I just wanted to say that I LOVE that Tacori setting, and I think it would look gorgeous with pink sapphires.

thanks vesper girl. finding the right colour sapphires is the start but also I prefer an e-w set stone rather than round so working on ways to do that. it is still so yummy tho!!
