Tacori 2620 vs Simon G 1935- Please help me pick!!!

Hi there. My bf and I have been ring shopping and I have it narrowed down to two:

Simon G (I like that it does not have a halo, to really showcase the stone. The band is SO MUCH more sparkly in person:

Tacor 2620 (I like the lacy-ness of the band and that it looks a little antiquey. Perhaps less trendy than the pave band on the Simon G? But the halo is my only concern. It makes the round stone almost squarish and may detract from the diamond)

I love them both. I want something timeless, but also sparkly and bright. Hmmm... Thoughts, please!!!!

I like the Tacori better. It''s different amd seems more unique. Just my opinion!

I love Tacori settings. But between these two I prefer the Simon G.
