Hi,

I am looking to buy my girlfriend an engagement ring. We are currently looking at the Tacori 2510 Princess cut ring.
It can be seen here: http://www.tacori.com/Engagement-Rings/HT2510PR12X
I am looking into getting the following diamond:
EGL certified
Size: 0.93ct
Clarity: VS1
Color: H
Cut: excellent cut
Do you all think the diamond will be a good size? What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks

The Tacori HT2510 is made in different versions which are designed to accommodate different sizes of center stones, while HT2510PR12X is the base model number, you''re actually probably looking at something like HT 2510 PR 5 1/2X assuming that the princess cut diamond you are looking at has an outside diameter between 4.8 - 5.2 mm; if a little larger than that, like between 5.3 - 5.7 mm, then you''ll need HT 2510 PR 5.5 1/2X.

The style number works like this:

HT2510 is the basic style
PR stands for Princess (center stone)
5 or 5.5 refers to the diameter of the center stone (always a range around that number)
12 is really 1/2 which means the diamonds go across the top of the ring only.
X is the shank type, which in this case is a plain shank

A "W" on the end is for 18k White Gold and a "P" is for Platinum.

So to answer your question, the diamond will look fine in the setting because Tacori offers a setting designed to accommodate a center stone of that size, you just need to be sure that you''re ordering the setting option for that size center stone
