Sweet pea

It''s not a misplaced thread i just miss summer so much.
A ring was made with this plant in mind because the colors of the sapphire are blue and green like the flower. It''s a belle''s pendant relative too.

It's the only photo i have for now and it's bad, i will try to make more close ups later.
The sapphire is unique it changes from violet-blue to green-blue with all the shades in between and in direct sun light it's dark pure blue with pure green flashes.
Richard M. http://www.artcutgems.com/ sent me this one just in case along with reddish cushion and i loved it the most. The only thing i wish would be a higher crown, well and that i wouldn't have drop this baby on the tile floor and chipped the corner.

maybe this will cheer you up a little irina...

took this last week, some spring blooms here. my daffodils came up last month...but soon the whole garden will be bursting!

any ideas on modeling some ring designs from these flowers? the blue hyacinth would be an interesting one! cluster ring? the maroon pansies remind me of mrs salvo's lily design pendant.

No we already have snails & squirrels to chomp happily on my plants...and thankfully...a white portia rat to chase them out! hehe.

Thank you all guys, it''s Leonid who finally took over the camera, he can''t stand me frustrated.

This one shows pretty much right how the color is always green from the side, that''s why i made the setting open completely from the front. No matter how blue is this sapphire from the top, it''s green from the side.
