Surprise Diamonds

I kind of like the little surprise diamonds that are on either side of some rings. I just wonder how "safe" the are. Has anyone had any problems with them coming out or being loose?

I love surprise diamonds! I don''t recall anyone losing a surprise diamond... I would be more concerned with if it was rubbing on the wedding band causing damage.

I would not worry about them falling out.

The rubbing on the band is also something I wondered about. That and wrapping my mind around paying for extra diamonds that you won''t see once the band is up against them.

Sometimes you can buy a set that does not rub together.

I am totally obsessed with the side view (I''m searching for an ering right now), so I am pretty much set on having some diamonds on the side. If that''s what you want, there are safe options.

The one that I have finally decided on (for now I suppose depending on how long BF waits) I don''t think it''ll rub. I think the surprise diamond is set back a little from where the WB will sit.

The set I am thinking about are the top two rings in my SMTR thread asking if anyone has rings similar to the ones I posted.
