I forgot about it until recently, since it's too big for me to wear.

My mom bought a $1 jewelry box because it rattled at goodwill, then found this trapped inside. She gave it to me because I love sapphires. And I forgot about it.

Anyone know what the KE or KH stamp means?

The pearl is warm and oily looking, but a little loose so I probably won't be wearing this.

The stones are a beautiful shade of blue.

That's so cool, can't beat it for $1!

I searched the hallmarks and got a hit on KH which came up as Gem-o-the-month made by Hailaparn and Co in the 50's. In the examples I found though the maker's mark comes after the gold stamp reading 10KH. So not completely sure if it is the same company but thought I would share anyways.

It’s lovely. What a bargain buy!
You can use a soft toothbrush and warm water with just a tiny bit of dishwashing liquid and gently clean the pearl. you can also clean the around the sapphires
its rattling because the prongs have lifted a little, if you use the flat side of a knifeblade you could gently but firmly push the tip of the prongs towards the pearl.

I agree with the soft brush and wam water but IMO dishwashing liquid is too harsh for cleaning pearls.
I'd use a milder soap, and distilled water if possible to avoid the interaction of soap with hard water minerals.

Thanks!! I'm going to clean and tweak the prongs tonight when I get home :)

It's beautiful! What a lucky find! Sapphires and pearls are a great combination.
