I've seen two Superideal brands of diamonds so far, the Hearts on Fire and the Leo. Both were so incredibly shiny and firey, far superior to the crap they had at the mall. I know for a fact that I want my future fiance's diamond to look like that, but what exactly is it that makes them look so damn good? Furthermore, can you tell if a diamond will be that shiny and sparkly by looking at the information on a GIA cert? GIA certed diamonds are most of what I'm seeing, so it would help to know if there is a tight set of ranges that I should look for in a GIA cert that would hint to me if it's a good diamond or a bad one (they don't have enough info for the HCA here on pricescope). I was told that these are the MINIMUMS that I should look for, so please tell me if I'm wrong:
Depth: 60.1-62.8%
Table: 55-60%
Symmetry: Very Good
Polish: Good
Color: I and up
Clarity: VS2 and up (or SI1 if inclusion is not directly under table facet)
As far as naked eye noticablilty is concerned, am I on the mark for what will *LOOK* like a Hearts and Arrows diamond without a loupe? Please correct any of these assumptions if I'm wrong. Thanks!
