Hello, I'm very new to this whole process and trying to get myself up to speed so your help would be greatly appreciated.

My girlfriend has mentioned she really likes a style similar to this
http://www.bluenile.com/ca/build-your-own-ring/petite-vintage-pave-leaf-diamond-ring-14k-white-gold_49870

What I'm looking to do it make it a bit more personal, I have a ring that was my Grandfathers passed down to me that I would like to use the gold from to create something similar to the ring above that way it would carry much more sentimental value.

Now is this something that would be feasible or would it be a lot more costly in the long run to have something like this made.

I value your feedback about what you think of the idea and if you have any Southern Ontario recommendations of places to make this happen that would be greatly appreciated.

What does GTA mean?

Google finds Grand Theft Auto, but that can't be it.

GTA = Greater Toronto Area

So, around Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Your hockey-playing, snow-loving cousins, who are nice, polite, and end every sentence with 'Eh'. :wavey:

I have no personal experience with these jewellers, but their work looks nice. They say they reuse old jewellery/gold in their designs.
