Hello, I have been browsing for rings for quite some time. Nothing really has screamed to me this is the one until about a week ago. I stumbled on this ring and it SCREAMS buy me. http://www.verragio.com/Verragio-Engagement-Rings/Insignia-Engagement-Rings/INSIGNIA-7064P

I saw the price and was all happy a little high on the price but I could swing it..... Until i realized I need to add a center stone which throws me way over budget. 14 karat, Princess brings it to Price: $3,690.00

So does anyone know of a similar ring to this maybe with less detail that is more affordable? I am looking for a take home price under $3,500 (of course i can wiggle up for the right ring).

I've always wondered, are this settings comfortable to wear or do they dig into skin? I have sensitive and dry skin, and I can't stand anything that's not totally continuous and smooth on the inside. I don't think I'd be able to wear that style as more than a special occasion ring.

And I think TC's concern about the flourishes on the inside of the ring is worth considering - they're probably not everybody's cup of tea, from a comfort standpoint.
