hi everyone!
just came back from seeing Yekutiel at ID Jewelry today! Over the past month I had been helping a friend in pursuit of a perfect engagement ring for his girlfriend and we have just experience a holiday miracle with a stunning emerald diamond set in a beautiful custom platinum halo setting, all within budget
first off, GIA cert stats:
1.51ct / I color / VVS1
7.89 x 5.50 x 3.51mm (great spread for carat weight!)
1.43 ratio
Table 65% / Depth 63.9%
Polish - EX
Symmetry - EX

then onto the ring setting!! Yekutiel really came through with a beautiful platinum setting, and did us a huge favor in completing it in 1 week flat! the workmanship is flawless and really loving the cutdown pave.
a few requests made on the setting:
- cutdown pave
- 1.8mm ring shank
- 1.5mm halo (slightly thinner than ring shank to not overwhelm the center stone)
- minimal basket
- flush fit stems
- pointed claw prongs
- shank pave to end 3/4 of the way around
here are some photos of the delicious setting -

here are some close ups of the craftsmanship -

lastly, some model shots on my hand (i am size 4.5 so the rink shank is a little large on me
)
