Stumped by Ring Markings on Danish Modernist Ring - Help Appreciated!

Hello!
I'm new to this forum but I'm so happy to find fellow vintage and antique jewellery lovers.

I bought this modernist ring a while back and love it but I'm completely stumped by the markings on it and was wondering if anyone had any idea about them...

It's got a moonglow-ish glass sugar-loaf cabochon and then a textured setting. Then on the back it's marked 'Denmark' and then underneath there is what looks to be an anchor or an upside down stylized 'T' and the numbers 143. I'm not sure whether it's silver or pewter or what.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

Mary

I would think that if the time was taken to mark it in the first place,
then a "sterling" mark would've been applied at that time.
So maybe not sterling. However, the color looks right. A jeweler can test the metal for you, to be sure.
I really like it!

Cool ring, no matter what it's made from :))

Is it the original box? Can you post a picture of the text?

I am zero help but just wanted to say that's a cool ring (and box). Hope you're able to find out more about it!
