Stud Pair— yay or nay?

Honest opinions on the pair below for platinum studs. My gut says no and so does Rare Carat. Price would be $2200 all inclusive with stones and settings. I should be able to get 1 ctw excellent cut SI1 J stones in the same price range, correct? Husband likes working with the jeweler, however I am trying to hint at shopping online. Opinions appreciated!

These two diamonds firstly are only “very good” cut - I haven’t run them through the HCA but I doubt they’d come up great - and secondly they have very different proportions and are going to appear noticeably different. I would pass.

Thank you! I just ran them through HCA and the .54 is 1.3, but the .56 came out at 3.4! Yikes.
