Stuck on setting

Hey everyone,

Ok I really need help, so I''ve settled on a 0.72 center with 2, 0.25 stones. Unfortunately, Stueller doesn''t make a setting that can fit these parameters. So I''ve emailed this company:

to ask if they sell to the public. I''ll probably call them in a few minutes.

Bascially I''m looking for a 3 stone setting, yellow gold that will work (the most inexpensive possible). If any one has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated!

I know that someone on here had a setting from overnight mountings that Wink Jones got in for them. He has good prices and MANY three stone settings, so it may be worth the time to check with Sheila at winkjones.com. She is really great, but if you are in a rush you may want to call, sometimes it takes a day or so to get back to you. Hope that helps. Love your gift idea by the way! Mokey

Thanks Mokey. Ugh. I just called overnight settings and they only sell to jewelers, so that's out. Caca. I'm buying the stones from WF and would like them to set it for me, because it's really hard in Canada. I'll keep surfing the net. I don't know if Wink will sell just the setting. I guess it's worth a try. Thanks!

Allycat -- I think I need to catch up, I''m out of the loop! Is this ring like a temporary stand-in for your e-ring, for you to wear at your engagement party? For some reason, I thought that got postponed or something. Sorry for my cluelessness!

Anyway, I would think that any of the PS vendors would be able to accommodate you in a hurry. It sounds like a pretty basic setting. Perhaps call around to see who can help?

No the ring is a present for my mother...her anniversary present from the 3 kids. We cancelled our engagement party so I don''t have to deal with that headache yet

Belle: I don''t think the overnight setting will work because I had asked Renee to iquire about any and all setting that would work. I emailed Wink to see if he has anything (they did respond that they couldn''t vouch for the quality of the setting because customers had problems with them), so I''m asking him if he has ANY setting that would work.

I got a Local quote for $500 Canadian for the setting.....but I''m a little weary of having the stones set locally, so I''m still searching, ideally I would like to have the setting sent to WF and for them to set the stones. Thanks!

I'm literally losing my mind. If anyone knows if a 1 carat head can be made to adjust to a 0.75 stone, that would be much appreciated!
