Stress bought these two spinels...

They looked really pretty for side stones or earrings... so I figured what the heck. Checked the feedback on Toolhaus, it's clear. Could be an old buyer with a new name... but they look so pretty.

I'll post picks when they arrive. Cheap enough for a stress buy. LOL.

I hope they are nice too! If they are I'm thinking of setting them as earrings. Something from adwar (I've been looking at the adwar halos and stuff for pendants and think this might be the way to go for these little spinels-- but as earrings) with ACA melee. A little Christmas present if I get down the 30 pounds I've targetted till then. Then I've have to get a dress to match them for the wedding we are attending NYE.

Thinking of a nice pendant to match too of course. If the seller is good I'll contact them and ask them for a third round... a little bigger if possible. 6.5 round would be great.

Lol, yeah...that is what I am talking about with my expensive stress purchases.

But I DO wear it everywhere, including up to school, so I justified it! I also haven't made the leap to bbags or anything like that, so I consider that a comparatively cheap substitute!

That was my first choice. But couldn't justify going over 50 for a stress buy. I can't WAIT to see how it looks in pics though. That seller has a couple of other things I'm really interested in. CONGRATS!

Not sure when I get them. Hmm. Probably a couple of weeks, shipping is really show unless you want to pay $$.


Chrono-- will do. I'm not gonna get them appraised verified right away. If they look pretty, I'll be happy at that price. Even if they look like garnets because they are dark that's okay too. I like garnets. *shrug*

When buying stones on ebay my philosphy is to only spend as much as I can comfortably shrug off if they aren't real or as nice as the pics.

Me too, I love garnets too! I am contemplating setting it into a Legacy-esque setting since the shape would be perfect for it but having second thoughts spending so much money on a setting on an inexpensive stone..
