Hello, everyone...the water pressure in all of the sinks in my home has two settings it seems...either barely drizzling out the faucets or full blast! Obviously, when cleaning my ring the "drizzle" setting won''t suffice to rinse the cleaner off. However, is it likely that the pressure of rinsing under the water coming out that hard would be enough to knock the stone loose? It is a platinum four prong setting. Sorry if I sound paranoid, just checking!

You are much better off using a small plastic container and swishing the ring around in it.
While the water pressure isnt likely high enough to dislodge a well set stone if something is lose it could.
At the least put a screen over the drain.

You might want to consider purchasing a tea ball. It is a tool that opens up to enclose the item in a screen ball like fixture.

These are not expensive and are available in lots of sizes.

If a stone does fall out, at least it''s captured in the ball.
